Mid century 1950’s Jeronimo Fuentes brooch in sterling and green enamel
This rare and lovely "Zodiac Pisces Two Fish" Guilloche Enamel Sterling Silver Taxco Pin was created by Margo De Taxco's enamellist Jeronimo Fuentes. Jeronimo was made head of her enamellists shop. He replaced Sigi Pineda in that position at Margo's Taller. On the back you can clearly see his JF hallmark and the Eagle 3 stamp is also clear on it.
The pin was created in the 1940-1950's period. It is in very good condition! The pin is almost 1" tall and about 2" wide at the widest point. It weighs 6 grams.
